Balkan Group is active in the trade of sugar and high quality raw materials in the food industry. Its shareholders have more than 20 years of experience in this field.The products traded by the company are sugar as well as sunflower oil and cereals. For sugar it has packing machines for 1kg pack, 25kg bag machine and 1000kg big bag machine.
The high dynamics of the company in the sugar sector and its ability to respond to the needs of its customers in all market conditions has brought it to the top positions in the sugar wholesale market in Greece and abroad.
Our company has a quality control department for the continuous control of all raw materials and finished products produced or traded.
All suppliers are assessed against strict criteria set for them, in order to maintain quality levels. A plan is in place to analyse the products at regular intervals, including chemical and microbiological analyses, heavy metal and pesticide analyses. All products are accompanied by the necessary quality and packaging certificates in accordance with current legislation.
